EVENT: YOU’VE BEEN POISONED: ESCAPE ROOM
TIME: THROUGHOUT THE CONVENTION
LOCATION: VENDOR AREA
DESCRIPTION:
This year we are pleased to be hosting You’ve Been Poisoned: Escape Room. Created and run by Tim Blank, designer of Oh My Gods! And Bumuntu. You can challenge yourself and do a good deed at the same time. The $5 per person suggested donation for this event goes directly to Boston Children’s Hospital.
You've Been Poisoned is a 10-minute Escape Room experience. You are the lab assistants of the not-so-ethical Dr. Mortimer Thornblood. And in his most recent human experiment, you've unfortunately discovered that you've been poisoned and only have 10 minutes to live! Luckily for you, the doctor has the antidote hidden somewhere in his office. Un-luckily for you, he's not here. Use the clues on Dr. Thornblood's desk to figure out where he keeps the antidote. Find it within 10 minutes and make it out with your lives, but take any longer, and you'll be his next victims!

DESCRIPTION:
Fancy Friday, inspired by the lovely Kathleen Mercury and the Geekway (an amazing board gaming convention in St. Charles, Missouri) crew, is exactly what it sounds like. It is an excuse to get as fancy as you want to be and play some games with friends. You can wear your Sunday best, a kilt, or go full junior prom if you choose to. It is all about wearing what makes you feel good and having some fun. You can play some Rococo while wearing a gown, for the ultimate thematic gaming experience. There is no end time for the event, stay fancy for as long as you'd like to. Fancy Friday even pairs well with our trivia event.
EVENT: GEEKY TRIVIA
TIME: 9 PM

DESCRIPTION:
Geeky trivia, hosted by Boards and Brews, will begin at 9 pm in the theater room. If you like all things gamey, geeky, and fun grab a team and join us for some trivia goodness, hosted by some fabulous people. Come prepared for trivia, laughter and fun.

We will be introducing our Early Risers Cereal Club! Starting at 6am we will put out a plethora of cereal choices for all us dawn delighters to scarf down while we watch Saturday morning cartoons and play amazing board games at the same time (while standing on your head is optional, it is also encouraged). Here at the Granite Game Summit, we live to help build our local gaming community. One of our favorite ways to do that is through our Designer Alley. It has been a staple at our event since the very first one and we are proud to bring it back each year! It gives designers an opportunity to engage with attendees, teach their games, and receive feedback. It also allows our attendees a unique experience of playing games directly with the designers. It even gives you a shot at winning some of their games through our play-to-win system.

A flea market for board games that will be an hour long hosted by Ryan LaFlamme from The Cardboard Republic . Sellers will be able to set up tables of items for sale, and people can come and buy those games. If you are interested in selling please sign up here. You can find more details here.

Take some time off from non-stop gaming at the summit to try your hand out at painting some miniatures from the official Fallout world! No prior experience necessary, Pranav & Eddie will be on hand to guide you through your first (or 50th) miniature painting experience. This is a 100% free event for G2summit goers, just show up, miniature and painting supplies and help if needed will all be provided at the event. Stunning Fallout miniatures sponsored by Modiphius. At 6:00pm we will stop taking tickets for all the drawings. By 6:30pm we will announce the winners. We have two kinds of enter to win drawings.
The first is the traditional raffle where you can purchase tickets to enter. But with the Granite Game Summit Raffle you select what you want to win. You will also be able to see how many other tickets have been added for that item. This way you maximize your chances to win exactly what you want!
The second is our Play-to-Win. This is where you play the game and then get entered to win it, no additional purchase necessary! There is only one entry per person for these items.

EVENT: TWO ROOMS AND A BOOM
TIME: 9:30 PM

DESCRIPTION:
Two Rooms and a Boom is a social deduction game for 6-30 players and played in two teams: the Red team, and the Blue team. The Blue team has a President and the Red team has a Bomber. The game is played in two rooms (separate playing areas), and will take place over 5 timed rounds. At the completion of each round some of the players from each team will be swapped into different rooms. At the game’s end if the Red team’s Bomber is in the same room as the President, the Red team wins. If the Bomber and President are in different rooms, the Blue team wins. Sponsored and moderated by Randy from Tabletop Gamers Alliance . Randy will also have some added prototype material from Tuesday Knight Games to playtest.

EVENT: SIGN THE SIGN DRAWING

We will be bringing back our Sign-the-Sign Drawing. To enter you just sign our registration sign when you check-in. Then on Sunday we will flip a tiddlywink onto the sign, the most covered or closest name wins a free pass to next years convention! You do not need to be present to win, so make sure your name is legible and matches your badge!
